<p class="MsoNormal"><span>Jim Stark is author of the book <i>Rescue Plan for Planet Earth: Democratic World Government through a Global Referendum</i>. The book deals with the political structures needed to allow for the survival of humankind.<br/><br/></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>Jim was born in <city w:st="on"><place w:st="on">Ottawa</place></city>, in 1943. He graduated with a BA in psychology from Laurentian University in 1967. In 1977, he founded Operation Dismantle, a national nuclear disarmament organization, where he served as president and CEO until 1985 (see <i>Cold War Blues</i> or <i>The Canadian Encyclopedia</i>). With his wife, Earleen Devine, he has a business at <a href="http://www.lifeprofilesbooks.com/"><b><font color="#467aa7">Life Profiles</font></b></a> writing the life stories of seniors. He has written dozens of life stories, as well as ten of his own books.
